Abstract EN

The study of Iraqi poetry abroad has led to the researcher's findings as follows: 1- The social symbols employed in the texts of the Iraqi poetic achievement in the Diaspora 1968-2003 do not represent an artistic phenomenon only, but rather a phenomenon of objective dimensions as well as an advanced step in the aesthetic experimentation of the modern Arabic poem.2- The presence of gray areas and the overlap between texts employing social symbols and texts of daily life does not mean that these texts are an evolving part of the daily poem of the living, as much as that poem is an important tributary from which poets drew in their formation of images of social symbols in their texts.
