Abstract EN

Al-Abyoordy is a poet whose poetry has been characterized by a romantic excellence and a high technical (artistic) value, especially in his poems said and cited in Iraq which showed his home sickness, his belonging, his pride and his firmness and solidity in confronting the ignorance of the role of the society, and misfortune.

In his presence and ence, an ence imposed on him by an injustice of his age.

He created for himself a prevalent compensational presence.

The present research tries to observe the movement of this controversy and to answer such an important question: What was that which the poetic text lacked? And what was that which was still there ( present )? That controversy appeared in and dominated the scene in his poetry with an aesthetic touch reflecting the artistic ability of the poet in putting forth the intended idea.

All the above was tackled and dealt with under four headings: The poetic self, the other, women and the belonging.
