There is no doubt that the study of environmental pollution of urban settlements is of great importance in recent studies of urban geography because of the problems posed by environmental problems and environmental pollution to human life and economic development in the short and long term, making the preservation and protection of the environment a strategic dimension of the rational management of natural resources.

In this paper, we discussed the role of community culture in combating urban environmental pollution in a modern city in order to reveal the image of environmental pollution suffered by the city, and to enable the diagnosis of problems affecting the environmental safety in the city.

Therefore, the research focused on the question of the reality of the pollution of the urban environment of a modern city and what is the relationship of environmental culture with the pollution of the urban environment in which the problem of research.

Families and society lack awareness in spreading environmental culture.

We used the descriptive approach as appropriate for research because we are collecting field data and describing facts.
