يعالج داريوش شايغان الفيلسوف الإيراني المعاصر أكثر المسائل حدة في عصرنا و حتمية الترابط بين الشرق و الغرب و الشمال و الجنوب بين تقنية طاغية لا مفر منها و بعد روحي ضروري لمستقبل الإنسان.
فيقترح داريوش شايغان دراسة العلاقات الأساسية المؤثرة في الدائرة الجماعية لحضارة ما مع الأخذ بعين الاعتبار البعد الروحي لها مبينا نقاط قوة الحداثة الغربية دون استبعاد للدور الجوهري للتراث الروحي.
Abstract EN
Daryush Shayegan, the modern-day Iranian philosopher, treats one of the most intense questions of our age and the necessary liaison between East and West, and North and South, between an oppressive but unavoidable technique and a necessary spiritual dimension for the future of Mankind.
And so, Daryush Shayegan suggests a study of the essential relationships that influence the collective sphere of a certain civilization while considering its spiritual aspect and showing the strengths of Western Modernity without discarding the essential role of spiritual memory.

Daryush Shayegan, le philosophe iranien contemporain, traite des questions les plus aiguës de notre époque et de la nécessaire jonction qui s'opère entre l'Orient et l'Occident, entre le Nord et le Sud, entre la technique envahissante mais inéluctable et la dimension spirituelle essentielle à l'avenir de l'homme.
Daryush Shayegan propose une étude des liens structurels qui agissent dans la sphère collective d'une certaine civilisation mais aussi à l'intérieur de l'âme en quelque sorte, alors il nous montre les points forts de la modernité occidentale tout en méditant sur le rôle majeur de la tradition spirituelle.
