In this article, we touched on the role of educational thought in resurrecting the Arab Renaissance, and Rafa'at Al-Tahtawi was one of the most prominent reformers who took care of education and considered it a component of the Arab Renaissance, and Al-Tahtawi stressed that education is necessary for a person that he cannot do without, because it is simply the path of progress and urbanization, for the nation It elevates its men and women on the path of progress on a sound basis.

Also, education should not be limited to males without females, and education must circulate in the first stage to all members of society, rich and poor, Tahatawi does not exclude women from education, influenced by French society, defended her social freedom alongside men, but within the limits of her legitimacy And this is what made him assert that the basis of urbanization in other countries is justice and fairness.

It also indicates that one of the reasons for progress is the interest in science and scholars, because the happiness of the kingdom arises from it, so the ruler must reward the people of nobility and the owners of classification and authorship from the people of education and understanding, and he also adds that education is related to urbanization in a dialectical way, as it is on the one hand that qualifies the nation to reach progress, On the other hand, education is one of the pillars of urbanization, so education falls in the path of national thought and becomes the basis for benefiting the people of the country, according to Al-Tahtawi's opinion.
