Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the Some education faculties’ experiences for applying accreditation and quality, either the faculties have got the international obtained accreditation or which seeking to have it.

the study showed it through the general vision, mission the main objectives and strategies for those faculties.

Education faculties in Libya and in proportion to their environment, and the research dealt with comparison models of colleges of education in America, Chile, India, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

This research reaches some results like -The application of accreditation and quality assurance standards in the faculties of education starts first by diagnosing the current state of the faculty and then preparing the vision, mission and conceptual framework based on the main objectives adopted by the college.

-Access to accreditation and quality assurance for the faculties of education requires a great effort and may require a new design without reviewing the previous programs or inputs as we note the experience of the faculty of education at the University of the Emirates.

-Many colleges are actively seeking accreditation and quality assurance through time plans for this purpose, as well as in the faculties of education at the University of Bahrain and King Saud University.

-It is obvious that most colleges of education depend on the process of development adopted by the standards of the National Council for the adoption of teacher education (NCATE).
