Realistic interests are one of the pillars of strategic relations between the Russian Federation and the United States of America.

They are among the great powers that have its own standards that governing their relationship with each other, these standards define different concepts, such as cooperation, conflict, mutual force, as well as influence positive and negative on various international issues in times of peace and war.

The Russian Federation plays an important role in global politics, one of which is the restoration of international balance in international relations through strategic crises, and since the balance of interests depends primarily on the balance of power, when the balance of power between nations balances their interests as well, this is an obstacle to the role of the United States of America to regain hegemony.

The Russian Federation is seeking to rearrange its relations with the United States of America to bridge the gap in the elements of power and influence the regional and international affairs according to considerations of balance of power, and thus the Russian Federation seeks to find a new international order based on the dynamics of collective decisions of the important issues, and rejection of the unilateral American power in the management of international relations, even if required to face international sanctions imposed on it from time to time.
