Abstract EN

The present study aims to examine the natural resources in Hadhramout governorate and its connection with the various geomorphological Mohamed Awadh Barsheed manifestation in Hadhramout which contributes in the diversity of the natural resources in the coast, the valley and the desert in both southern and northern plateaus of Hadhramout.

This study has classified the types of metals and their connection with the various manifestation of the land of Hadhramout.

It has been founded that the majority of metals as petroleum and the structural stones are strongly connected with the nature of rocks which are almost pthe sedimentary rocks except few areas in western Hadhramout where gold has been in the igneous rocks.

The current study has been concluded that the abundance of metals contributes to the support of the economy of the governorate and the whole country especially in the recent twenty years of their discovery.

New metals and minerals are still being discovered in Hadhramout which is in sore need for infrastructure that contributes to the exploitation of these discoveries optimally.

The current study has also concluded that legal legislation must be legislated to protect the environment against pollution and the preservation of these resources from drain.
