أصبح لتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات مكانة هامة في بنية مختلف اقتصادات العالم، نظرا لدورها المحوري عبر مختلف استخداماتها في المجالات الحيوية ولا سيما في مجالات الصناعة والخدمات والتجارة، إذ يلاحظ الأثر الإيجابي لها في زيادة الفعالية في الأعمال وفي ارتفاع معدلات الإنتاج وزيادة الأرباح، كما تساهم الاستثمارات الموجهة في مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في تحقيق النمو الاقتصادي وتعزيز الميزة التنافسية في الأسواق التي تعتمد بشكل متزايد على هذه التقنية.
وفي تحقيق نقلة نوعية في تلك الاقتصاديات خاصة تلك التي تتمتع ببنية تحتية قوية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال.

Information and communication technology has become an important place in the structure of the various economies of the world, due to its pivotal role through its various uses in vital areas, especially in the fields of industry, services and trade, as it is noticed its positive impact in increasing efficiency in business and in increasing production rates and increasing profits.
directed investments in information and communication technology contribute to achieving economic growth and enhancing competitive advantage in markets that increasingly rely on this technology.
and in achieving a quantum leap in those economies, especially those that have a strong information and communication technology infrastructure.

Les technologies de l'information et de la communication sont devenues une place importante dans la structure des différentes économies du monde, en raison de son rôle central à travers ses diverses utilisations dans des domaines vitaux, en particulier dans les domaines de l'industrie, des services et du commerce.
bénéfices: les investissements dirigés dans les technologies de l'information et de la communication contribuent à la croissance économique et au renforcement de l'avantage concurrentiel sur les marchés qui dépendent de plus en plus de cette technologie.
et en réalisant un bond en avant dans ces économies, en particulier celles qui disposent d'une solide infrastructure des technologies de l'information et de la communication.
