This article deals with the stylistic of the narrative discourse with the presentation of two critical models of the theoretical and applied studies, especially Hamid Lahmidani's project (who is the theoretician of the novel stylistic) and what was limited to the Arab critical studies in dealing with this literary art from the old rhetoric associated with poetry and prose.

Then, we talk about the prospects of establishing a narrative stylistic system starting with the novelistic work elements inside, the novelist's ability and awareness of the novel techniques, its intellectual structure and global aesthetic bases, and how to turn it from the rhetoric of the novel to the stylistic of the novel by overcoming the old rhetoric to modern rhetoric and stylistic that distinguish the narrative discourse from the other poetic and prose literary discourses.
