Values are based on common traditions, ideas and principles prevailing in a society, which makes them play an important argumentative role in the discourse, they direct the speaker, according to their semantic and pragmatic charge, to an intentional direction to serve specific results, because they are based on argumentative places that guarantee an argumentative transition of the load they bear, that the receiver is willing to do.

This article has attempted to reveal the argumentative movement of values in the “Hujjat Al-Wadaa” discourse of the prophet Mohamed, It concludes that the values used in this speech have the general approval of the interlocutors, which makes them, in argumentative perception, far from refutation and denial, also makes the speaker commit himself /herself to the world of his interlocutors, and ensure their involvement in the discourse.
