يعطي مالك بن نبي أهمية بالغة لتغيير الذات كسبيل لتحقيق التغيير الموضوعي المتعلق بالمجال الحضاري اإكجتماعي و التاريخي فالنهضة الحضارية لا تتحقق دون العودة إلى الذات من أجل استنهاضها و بعثها من أجل الدخول في دورة حضارية جديدة وعليه فتغيير الواقع مشروط بتغيير الفكر و إصلاحه ودون ذلك يبقى التغيير سطحيا لا يؤدي إلى تجديد حقيقي ينتج عنه تحول حضاري عميق

Malik bin Nabi gives great importance to self-change as a way to achieve substantive change related to the social and historical field of civilization.
Change remains superficial and does not lead to real renewal resulting in a profound civilization transformation
