The punishment has not be came anaim in itself but rather a means to achieve other goals, mainly to reform the criminal and eliminate the criminal risk factors may have.

Thus the concept works to restore rehabilitation and social integration to become a productive individual and positive within the community.

To reach this goal it must have to review the methods of punitive treatment used to achieve the desired goals.

Because of that, the legislature hastened to review the punishment, especially in the implementation phase, and allowed the sentenced prisoner to receive rewards and privileges that allowed him to regain his partial freedom.

this can take place responded to the rehabilitation programs and have of the conditions stipulated in law 05-04, including the law of the organization of prisons and the social reintegration of prisoners.
