This paper aims to identify judicial corruption, and tries to explain its causes and to uncover the serious consequences that result from it, The effectiveness of the legal mechanisms established by the legislator to alleviate this phenomenon was also discussed, whether it's about the preventing mechanisms like the codes of ethics of the judicial work and also the mechanism of declaring propereties, or the treating mechanisms represented in holding judges accountable for their failure and punishing them for any disciplinary breach, as it was concluded that the judicial mechanisms alone are not enough to face the discussed phenomenon, so the participation of all actors both official and non-official is necessary to solve the crimes of corruption committed by judges.
