The financial penalty or the fine is an important part of the punitive criminal policy used to combat crime in general and traffic offenses in particular, and with the spread of traffic accidents and traffic violations, characterized by recklessness, recklessness and lack of respect for regulations and regulations, The study sheds light on the criminal policy of the Algerian legislator in the area of financial fines as an original penalty which was established by the Traffic Law in the framework of dealing with traffic violations and combating traffic crimes, both of which were offenses or misdemeanors.
