Since the late of 1980s, security studies knew considerably development.

Limited to military dimension by the realism, the concept of security has now been broadened with the critical tendenties and Copenhagen school to encompass other sectors including economy, environmetal and society (identity).

In this contex, constructivism in geniral an critical constructivism particullry present themselves as an alternative to the rationalist thesis, arguing security is socially constructed and that langauge constitutes a scurity act in its sociological demension.
