The transition to electronic government has become a pressing demand, especially in light of the reliance on the Internet in all humanitarian transactions, but he can't talk to electronic transactions, without talking about the confidence and security to be provided for these transactions; this is achieved by electronic signature.

The aim of this study is to review the basic concepts of electronic signature and its applications in the protection of electronic transactions; based on the Algerian legislation, and the Model International legislation adopted by the United Nations, and the European Parliament.
