Abstract EN

This study was concerned with considering the importance of the effective role that the written press plays in developing political awareness, especially in light of the popular movement that Algeria has witnessed since February 2019, so that the Algerian people freely expressed their desire to change the political system and eliminate all its symbols, in order to restore State building.

The study used the discourse analysis tool, which is considered one of the most important methodological tools that examines the depth of the studied phenomena in order to analyze it and reveal all its declared and implicit dimensions.
