Abstract EN

This paper is a close reading of the Turkish policy which began some time ago.

It observes the evolution of a new regional system in the Middle-East led by the Turkish effective role based upon a dynamic foreign policy characterized by taking the initiative rather than reaction.

This has required a further reading of the new Turkish political trends in a way which does not fit with ideologies, prejudice, crises and past era complexity.

We have determined the new characteristics of the Turkish policy in the Middle East which is concretized in the initiative taken by Turkey and its very early presence at all the region's crises and conflicts.

The main purpose is to play the mediator's role in the framework of containing and controlling conflict policy, to reduce tension and to act directly or indirectly - in collaborate with other parties.

The change In the Turkish foreign policy towards the Middle-East states relies on Former foreign minister Ahmet Davutoglu's approach stipulating that Turkey must contribute to spread peace in the region and bring Middle Fast state together following a three component foreign policy: political, cultural and economic components.

Turkey endeavours to aplly ''dispute elimination" theory with the neigh bouring states, which has urged the emergence of an active dynamism that has been able to creat new and different relationship with Syria, Iran and Iraq putting an end to earlier relationship characterized by tension, fear and hostility.

This has opened the door to a comprehensive collaboration with the neighbouring states starting from security to reach the political and the economic fields.
