The legal means to protect the environment are among the most important topics that have attracted the attention of researchers, especially with regard to linking it with the provisions of the investment law, as well as the principle of investment protection, the latter which has become a mere idea to a concrete legal reality to link the environment and investment and the inclusion of the importance of each other.

Taking note of all the legal means approved by the Algerian legislator to strike a balance between protecting the environment on the one hand and enshrining the freedom of investment on the other hand.
