Abstract EN
The issue of tourism occupies a great importance in the current period because of its economic character and its important position in the global economy.
Besides it is considered as an economic and social resource that allow obtain significant returns which contribute to increasing incomes of tourist countries and leads to employ millions of people, whether directly or indirectly.
Also it leads to an increase in the composition of the gross domestic product and a reduction of the deficit in the balance of their payments.
As a result many developing countries bet on the tourism sector as a key element in their economies to get out of relying on a single resource and diversify their sources in bringing financial resources to their treasury, and this research aims to clarify the economic importance and dimensions Tourism as an integrated industry that contributes mainly to advancing economic and sustainable development.
We also discuss in this study an analytical and descriptive review of the reality of the tourism market in Algeria, and stand on the results that have been achieved and contribute to creating added value for the Algerian economy.
