Abstract EN

This research aims at clarifying the role that states and governments can play in supporting the application of economic intelligence.

To achieve the above objective, the tow researchers adopted the analytical descriptive approach through the study of one of most prominent international experiments in applications of economic intelligence, it's the French experience.

Finally, the results of this research proved the effectiveness of the French model of economic intelligence, which has three main characteristics: a strong role for government and public institutions, encouraging research and development, support training in economic intelligence.
