The importance of the study lies in the nature of the topic it deals with and aims to highlight the reality of the practice of economic intelligence in high-tech institutions by making a comparison between previous studies that dealt with the subject, and to answer the following problem: “What is the extent of the practice of economic intelligence in high-tech institutions - a comparative study.

” Relying on the descriptive and analytical approach through the available literature and research related to the subject in building aspects of theoretical and analytical study related to high-tech institutions as well as aspects related to economic intelligence and the comparative approach through comparisons that clarify points of convergence and difference.

The study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which is the meeting of most studies on the importance of economic intelligence in high-tech institutions, but the extent of its practices varies from one institution to another.
