Abstract EN

This paper focuses on both oil and economic growth variables in order to clarify their significance, where we sense a link between them, which is already proven through an econometric study.

This study describes thoroughly the positive impact of changes in oil prices on the economic growth in Algeria during the years 2000 to 2016.

Then it gives a forecast, of a pessimistic nature, for another five years of subsequent changes, leaving no doubt about the need to diversify components in the national economy.
