Abstract EN

The objective of this study was to determine the effect of profitability on capital adequacy by analysing the financial data of the study variables, namely the rate of return on assets and the rate of return on equity for listed of the private banks in Algeria, the number of which is 6 through a time series extending from 2011 to 2016, Where the method used statistical analysis known as (Panel Data).

The study showed a statistically significant relationship between the rate of return on equity and the capital adequacy and the ence of a statistically significant relationship between the rate of return on assets and capital adequacy.
