Abstract EN

In this article, I dealt with the most important topics of hadith sciences that Imam Abu al-Arab touched through his book “layers of African and Tunisian Ulams”.

and I started talking about the book and its arrival to us, its printing, its investigators, its contents and sources of Abu al-Arab in his book.

then i dealt with five large parts in hadith sciences which are: names of the narrators, their elders, their pupils and their journeys, and under it fourteen parts, then I mentioned the methods of endurance and performance and under them three parts, then care for justice and control and under it seven parts, then the criticism of the hadith and under it three parts, then the criticism of the evidence and under it three parts, and I represented each part with a comparison of his words with other than his words from the Ulams of hadith, if any.

the article concluded with the most important results, that imam aba al-Arab is one of the great men of hadith and critic who has a great knowledge and he has dealt in his book with a lot of researches of hadiths sciences according to the modernists.

I recommend more attention to the heritage of Moroccans in general and Abi al-Arab in particular.
