The development achieved by modern societies in many areas has resulted in the emergence of the press, of which newspapers are a part.

because it provides a wide scope for talking about the crises and problems accompanying society.

they also constitute channels for the transmission of news and the exchange of ideas.

but despite its importance, Algeria did not know about this phenomenon until the beginning of the twentieth century.

when newspapers began to be published by individuals, political parties, and cultural and religious associations.

these newspapers were diverse, among them the newspapers published by the association of Algerian Muslim scholars, which were of a religious nature.

it was adopted as an effective means of developing minds through the reformist religious ideas it contains.
