Abstract EN

This paper aims to make known religious education in Morocco, which had accompanied the Islamic ‘Fath’ of north Africa in the first century of Hegira / 7th century AD.

it talks about the first initiations of teaching Qu’ran and Arabic language in Qur’anic schools and mosques.

the researcher who follows the development of these Qur'anic institutes can conclude that they have important role in the evolution of the civilization of the Islamic west and at the consolidation of the political regimes of its states.

the research also deals with and wonders about the continuity and restructuring of these institutes in nowadays Morocco especially with the challenges of the modern civilization.
