Abstract EN

In this paper, the researcher identified the causes of grammatical errors made by Turkish students in the faculty of Islamic Sciences at Mardin Arteglo University in Turkey.

he studied grammatical errors in exam papers of students in the preparatory year until the fourth year.

the researcher identified the causes of grammatical errors, in addition to counting its percentage and analyzing its results, in order to identify the types of grammatical errors and knowing the students evolution over the years.

the study is based on the descriptive analytical method and the statistical approach.

the researcher divided his studies into three main parts.

first, he identified the problematic of the study problem, objectives, questions, sample, tool, and difficulties encountered.

in the second, he presented the terms of the study and he explained the importance of analyzing errors in the Arab base, he highlighted how to analyze errors in ancient and modern studies in the third part, the researcher collected percentages of errors in tables and statistics to analyze the reasons why students commit these errors.

at the end of the study, the researcher reached a set of results, of which the most important is that the percentage of errors gradually decreases as the student progresses in his educational stages.

some types of errors increased, and some were settled by the learner throughout his studies, the researcher recommended to use modern educational methods to teach grammar especially those common ones.
