The research highlights a linguistic phenomenon in Arabic dictionaries.

he aim of this research is to mention the definition of language usage through Arabic dictionaries.

In the Book Of Dependence of Abi AlTayib The Linguist (351 H), in which the text can not be identified by the dependent, through a code of Arabic glosses (Kitabl Al Ayn, AlJim, AlJamhara, AlBarie, Tahzib Allugha, Maqayis Allugha, Taj Allugha, AlQamous AlMuhit, Taj Alarous, Muajam AlWaseet) in an attempt to explain the meaning of that proponent, after proving its linguistic roots in response to those who deny the existence of the roots of these disciples in dictionaries.

The research also studied the texts that contained these disciples to reach the correct ones, and correct the concepts of the meanings of those depending, and how to put them in the lexicon entries that are appropriate as fixed (matching withKey words: Language Dependence - Aub Al-Tayeb the Linguist - Arabic Dictionaries - Lexicons
