The non-governmental organizations (NGOs) play an important role in saving the planet and protecting the environment.

They have different roles and several functions in the environmental field.

They act not only as observers, advisory and sometimes as lobbying, but also as a major player in the elaboration of international environmental law and even in the process of its implementation.

Les organisations non gouvernementales (ONG) jouent un rôle particulièrement important pour la sauvegarde de la planète, et exercent plusieurs fonctions principales dans le champ de l'environnement.

Leurs rôles et fonctions sont variés, non seulement en tant qu'observateurs, consultatifs et parfois en tant que lobbying pour la prise en charge des problèmes environnementaux, mais aussi en tant qu'acteurs majeurs dans la production du droit international de l'environnement et même dans le processus de sa mise en œuvre.
