Abstract EN

The media is a textual approach based on novelty and diversity of information.

So it has multiple mechanisms, and a variety that contribute to the cohesion of the text and its coherence.

Additionally, mass media was known by the ancients as rhetorical studies, within the sections of the statement, the meanings, and the exquisite eloquence.

Evidently, as it is known, the poetry is related to the prevailing political, social and intellectual conditions and the changes that taking place, so the researchheretries to explain the role of media poetry to serve the society in terms of its influence on the behaviors through its aesthetic values.

Relatively, the Umayyad era was full of political events involving multi-party and differences which certainly reflected on poetry.

So that, such events, made poets a shocking media for each party, whether it was for the purpose of gaining or just for loyalty.

Among those parties was the Shiite party where its poets tried by their poems to explain their position and loyalty to the al-Bayt (peace be upon them) on one hand, and to show the legitimate right of the al-Bayt for succession on the other hand.

The poets were an honest medium of media that did not seek any worldly or material purpose, but they rather seek to convey a message, prove the truth, change situation, and to correct the ideas.

Accordingly, the research is based on three main themes, namely: 1.

The declaration of the state of al- Byte(peace be upon them) and Disown from their enemies.2.

The policy of repression against Shiites.

3.

The grievances of al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
