Abstract EN
We can be said that Iraq and Jordan have represented a model for a balanced and lasting relationship, despite the fluctuations in relations at times and their tension at other times, these relations have taken many turns, most notably after the American occupation of Iraq in 2003.
If the Kingdom of Jordan announced its full support for the Provisional Government, Visits between the two countries continued to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and to discuss mechanisms for border control and coordination in the field of combating terrorism.
We can be said that common interests were the main factor behind determining the nature of relationships.
With the availability of a number of common denominators that brought the two countries together and pushed them towards adopting positive relations.
