With the huge technological development witnessed recently by mankind and the automated connection of the Internet with all countries, the latter has been used for pornographic and criminal purposes, including the dissemination of pornographic images and pornographic materials for the sexual exploitation of children.

Internally, several countries have taken a number of measures in this field and have provided penal sanctions for the perpetrators of such acts that offend the child and undermine his modesty.

France, Germany, and England have monitored prison sentences and fines for cases of child abuse.

At the international level, the world has witnessed many conventions that oblige States to provide the greatest possible protection for the rights of the child, including the Convention on the Rights of the Child of 1989.

Perhaps the most important of these rights underlined in these conventions is the right of the child to protect him from any sexual abuse that may occur.

Assaults have bad effects on the child's origin, health and development.
