Arabic Abstract

هدفت هذه الدراسة تعرف الى مستوى العنف الجامعي في جامعات الشمال الخاصة من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع أعضاء هيئة التدريس في هذه الجامعات ( 777 ) عضوا للعام الدراسي ( 2020 2019 )، و تكونت عينة الدراسة من ( 230 ) عضوا و لجمع البيانات تم تطوير استبانة وتكونت من ( 31 ) فقرة موزعة على خمس مجالات، و تم التأكد من صدق و ثبات الأداة.

أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى العنف الطلابي في جامعات الشمال الخاصة من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس كان مرتفعا، و أظهرت أن المجالات المتعلقة بالعنف الجامعي جاءت مرتفعة أيضا، حيث جاء المجال السياسي بالمرتبة الأولى، و جاء المجال الديني في المرتبة الثانية، و جاء المجال الاجتماعي و الاقتصادي في المرتبة الثالثة، و جاء المجال الإداري في المرتبة الرابعة، و جاء المجال التربوي في المرتبة الخامسة.

كما أظهرت النتائج أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين مستوى العنف الجامعي كما يراه أعضاء هيئة التدريس تعزى لمتغير الجنس، و أنه توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى العنف الجامعي كما يراه أعضاء هيئة التدريس تعزى لمتغير الرتبة الأكاديمية، كما أظهرت النتائج أيضا أنه توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا في مستوى العنف الجامعي كما يراه أعضاء هيئة التدريس يعزى لمتغير المؤهل العلمي.

و في ضوء نتائج الدراسة اقترحت الباحثة عددا من التوصيات منها إجراء دراسات حول أسباب العنف في مدارس التعليم العام حيث أن مخرجات هذه المدراس هي مدخلات الجامعات، و عقد دورات تدريبية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس لكيفية التعامل مع الطلبة، و كيفية تطبيق لوائح تعليمات الجامعة.

English Abstract

This study aimed at recognising the level of violence in the private universities in North Jordan as perceived the faculty members.

The population study consisted of (777) faculty members, and its study sample consisted of (230) faculty members for the academic year (2019_2020).

To collect data, a questionnaire consisted of (31) items distributed in five domains was contacted, and its reliability and validity were computed.

The results of the study revealed that the level of university violence as perceived by the faculty members private was high (m=4.00).

The results also showed that all domains related to university violence came at high degree also, where the political domain came at the first place, and the religious domain came at the second place, and the social and economic domain came at the third place, the administrative domain came at the fourth place, and the educational domain came at the fifth place.

The results also showed that there were no significant differences existed between the levels of violence at the university as perceived by the faculty members due to the gender variable.

Furthermore, the results also showed that there were significant differences between the faculty members’ responses due to the academic rank variable.

As well as, the results also showed that there are differences significant in the level of university violence as perceived by faculty members due to the variable of educational qualification.

In the light of these results, the researcher introduced several of recommendations, including conducting more studies about the causes of violence in public schools since the outputs of these schools are the inputs of the universities, and to conduct training sessions for faculty members to explain how to deal with violent student, and how to apply the university’s rules and regulations
