Abstract EN

This study aimed to highlight the concept of performance and methods and indicators of its evaluation in economic institutions in general, and then allocated financial institutions, insurance and health in particular, to try to highlight the difference in the concept of performance among them and methods and indicators of evaluation.

The study found that the performance is defined by its characteristics, which vary according to the nature of the sector in which the institution operates.

The performance evaluation indicator used by financial institutions is different from the insurance institutions and differs from the health institutions, with participation in general characteristics (Effectiveness, efficiency, consistency, and social justice).
