Research Summary: We seek through this paper to enter into the thought of "Hassan Hanafi" as one of the flags of contemporary Arab-Islamic thought, and highlighted the concerns of the issues of the Arab nation and its destiny, by focusing on its civilizational project aimed at reforming the Arab mind and the advancement of its stature supplemented by the reform work of pioneers Renaissance and Enlightenment, which was carried out by Mohammed Abdo, Jamal al-Din al-Afghani and others, by overcoming the legacy of classical rationalism and solving the curriculum crisis in Arab-Islamic studies, by renewing the mechanisms of the Arab mind and making it a modern creative mind.
