Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the level of atheletic ambition and positive thinking، the relationship between them and relationship between the areas of positive thinking (good thoughts، optimism for the future، positive flexibility، satisfaction of life، self-confidence) and the level of athletic ambition among the players of some of the Nineveh governorate teams.

The researchers used the descriptive approach in the method of correlational studies to its suitability with the nature of the research، where the research community consisted of the (34) sport federations and research specimens consists of (334) players of the governorate of Nineveh، and the researchers used the statistical packages (spss) to treat the results .
