Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the relationship between the perception of stress and social support in the parents of children with autism, and the extent of differences in these variables in this sample.

After confirming the psychometric characteristics of the study tools represented in the Levinstein Scale (1993) of perception of stress, and the social support scale of the researcher Fawzia Ibrahim Rabah Al-Kurdi (2012) were applied to a purposive sample of 153, including 64 fathers and 89 mothers who are at the level of associations.

Autism care for children with autism in the province of Bejaia.

This study relied on the descriptive approach.

The results resulted in the following: - There is a significant correlation between the perception of stress and social support in this sample.

- There are statistically significant differences in the perception of stress between parents and in favor of mothers.

- There are no statistically significant differences in social support between parents.
