Abstract EN

This study attempts to explore the possible effects of the corona virus pandemic (Covid 19) on the development of contemporary security studies, by reviewing the implications that the pandemic can have on power distributions in the international system, and on the philosophy of local and global governance, with a focus on the most important research agendas in security such as Human security and securitization, and its relationship to the presumed scenarios pathways for the most important research directions in the security studies.
