Abstract EN

Algeria has a great diversity of natural, cultural and historical elements, which has made it a strong attraction for all types of tourism.

This study aims to assess the most important problems and shortcomings of the sector, which led to weak growth in demand for domestic tourism, despite the development efforts made by the State.

The study was based on a questionnaire distributed to a random sample of 150 respondents.

To assess the attitudes of individuals towards domestic tourism and their interest in diversifying their trips in the country.

The study concluded with a series of results, the most important of which is the great need to raise the level of the infrastructure and the quality of the products provided, in addition to raising awareness among the people of the importance of this sector and creating a constructive environment supporting the development of domestic tourism.
