Abstract EN

This study considers confinement as a punishment when accused proved not guilty in Sudanese Criminal Law.

Further, the sort of compensation thereof is issued when evidence produced the accused not guilty of the said crime.

The latter was due to wrong procedures he had gone through or break of rules of law.

The study again made mention of the gap in body of rules whereof compensation was not part of the rule of law.
