آثار تقلبات أسعار النفط على المتغيرات الاقتصادية الكلية الجزائرية في الفترة (2004-2016)‎

Abstract EN

This article aimed to descover the impacts of fluctuations in oil prices during the period (2004-2016) on the Algerian macroeconomic variables, for this we followed the analytical approach, this article deals the following points: the fluctuations of oil prices in the period (2004-2016) and effects this fluctuations on the Algerian economy, the measures taken to deal with the fluctuations in oil prices and the important mechanisms to reduce dependence on the hydrocarbons sector.

Among the results achieved, the world oil market has experienced two crises that have affected on Algerian macroeconomic indicators.

In order to deal with it, Algeria adopted many procedures, procedures during the 2004 crisis such as the advance payment of debts and the financing of revenue regulation fund, procedures during the 2014 crisis such as: withdrawal from the revenue regulation fund, the reduction of imports and the rationalization of public expenditures, but all these procedures are circumstantial.

Hence, taking structural measures is the way to reduce the oil dependence.
