Abstract EN

The study aims to present various theories that tried to analyze the disequilibrium in the labor market, and to provide some concepts related to the labor market.

This study also aims to analyze the development of the unemployment rate in Algeria during the period 1962-2018, as well as show the efforts made by Algeria in Address disequilibrium of the labor market and reducing the unemployment rates.

The study concluded that: Creating of several Agencies did not contributed to reducing unemployment during the period 1990-2004; But the application of development programs during the period 2001-2014 has contributed In reducing the general unemployment rate during the period 2001-2018, However, the youth unemployment rate during the period 2011-2018 remained high.
