Abstract EN

The aim of the study is to identify the reality and the way forward of the agricultural sector in Algeria by presenting its potential and analyzing its agricultural outputs in the light of reforms that this strategic sector underwent.

To this end We have used descriptive approach to describe the s variables of the study and analyze the various available data on the agricultural sector in Algeria.

Algeria possesses humangous agricultural potentials that bound to effectively achieve food security and self-sufficiency, which in turn confers algeria as an important food exporting center to all countries of the world.

However, the dedicated efforts to uplift the agricultural sector in Algeria remains limited and insufficient, which requires further efforts in order to tackle the various existing obstacles that hampers its development to live up to farmers needs and hopes on one hand, and citizens on the other hand
