The research was aimed at finding out the effectiveness of look before you hear strategy in acquiring of physical concepts and self-actualization for female puplis of fifth class of primary schools in Science.

The researcher followed the experimental research approach and used the partially controlled experimental design of dimensional testing to acquire concepts and self-actualization.

The sample of research consisted of (45) pupils, the experimental group consisted of (23) female pupils and while the control group was (22) female pupils.

The researcher prepared the test of acquiring of physical concepts, which included (36) paragraphs of multiple choice which validity and reliability were confirmed and proved, also calculating the difficulty factor, strength of identification and the effectiveness of wrong alternatives of paragraphs thereof.

The researcher also prepared the scale of self-actualization, including (18) paragraphs in form of statements describing the behavior of the student was which was confirmed valid and reliable, and the internal coherence factor of paragraphs scale.

Following to experiment was applied, completed and pupiles were tested, the results revealed that the group used look before you hear strategy in acquiring of physical concepts and self-actualization outperformed the control group that studied in the conventional way, and in the light of the results of the study, the researcher made a number of recommendations, in addition, the researcher made a number of proposals.
