The issue of depriving women of inheritance in some Algerian society categories by the virtue of tribal customs was and is still considered one of the most remarkable and prominent violations and prohibitions committed against them in order to deny their right deliberately.

This conduct is considered as one of the Pre-Islamic ignorance effects and impurities in its new form.

Those who are subject to these customs have deliberately resorted to several justifications believing that money would go to others (in-laws) and refusing the idea that the woman is financially independent.

So the bequeathed deliberately divides his wealth during his life preferring males over females and using different ways of donations such as gift, endowment or sometimes ownership (by selling or simulated swapping).

However, while they are behaving in that way they forget that they have to treat their sons and daughters equally when it comes to giving.
