Abstract EN

This paper aims to study the relationship between the Bank of Algeria and the Islamic banks through an analysis of the most important elements forming this relationship.

This study found that the Bank of Algeria through the regulations and laws that it applies does not try to adapt to the characteristics of Islamic banks.

This study concluded that Islamic banks in Algeria suffer from the disruption of their resources and lack of investment, in addition to the loss of opportunities and duplication of work.

The study also concluded that the Bank of Algeria has to amend and change the laws governing the operations of Islamic banks in order for the latter to perform its tasks.
