This study examines the effect of a change in one of the components of total demand or the overall presentation on inflation rates in Algeria during the period (2000-2017), This study was adopted in modeling the variables of the study on self-regression and the result of the study was that the source of inflation in Algeria is due to the increase in government expenditure through The correlation between inflation and government spending, which is estimated by the self-regression model, as well as the causal test of Ganger, which confirmed that there is a causal relationship between variable government spending and inflation variable.
