Abstract EN

This study of dual Iraqi personality aimes to break the common idea that dual Iraqi personality is the result of the conflict between Bedouin and city values.

The founder of this theory is Dr.

Ali Al Wardi.

Duality of the Iraqi personality in all its meaning is subject to the laws of water.

The scarcity of water forces him to travel constantly and a simple way of living, a system of values and ethics that guarantees its survival, as the scarce laws of water generate a Bedouin society.

But if water is available, it reflects its good and spring on the environment, including man, so the available water laws impose on him a life of stability and calm and produces a moderate, non-extremist and peaceful personality like the Egyptian society et personality.

But if the water is more than available and causes flooding and physical and human damage, then the laws of water impose on him a way of life that guarantes an unstable double personality that carries in its folds a dual threat and risk like Iraqi society.
